The Blood of Olympus is the final book of the series The Heroes of Olympus. This is the book where shit hits the fan and things get intense.
The Final Adventure
This book starts with Jason getting injured right off the bat. Juno appears before them and asks them to meet Apollo and Artemis.
On the other hand, Nico and Reyna are shadow travelling to camp half blood with the huge statue of Athena.
On another hand, The Romans are preparing to attack camp half blood.
War everywhere!
The group make their way to Athens.
The place where most things begin.
Athens is also the place where the rivalry between Athena and Poseidon began. So it’s a sentimental place for Percy and Annabeth.
This is also where the battle with the giants take place.
The fight was epic.
On another side, The Romans and the Greeks are fighting. Almost.
I Loved The Ending
I loved how this book progressed.
Firstly, Jason getting injured was a good bit.
Secondly, I got more Percy and Annabeth bonding.
After that, we also get to know Jason needs glasses.
Why I love that part? Because I wear Glasses! Now we’re glass buddies.
I loved the battle at Athens.
There’s this part where the Gods come down in their chariots to join the battle.
So the thing is, a God and a demigod needs to work together to kill a giant.
So the Gods coming down to fight alongside their kids was epic.
Again, there was another small bit about blood of the 7 demigods helping to awaken Gaia.
Then Percy gets a nosebleed.
And things ho to hell.
I loved how Gaia wakes up under Camp Half Blood.
Reyna returns the statue of Athena stolen by the Romans. Which was a good part.
I also loved how mature Reyna is about everything.
The final battle that takes place at camp half blood was perfect.
The Romans and Greeks fighting together was a part worth reading.
