The House of Hades is the fourth Installment of this series and this book had the most awesome adventure.

Journeying Through Hell

Falling. This is what the book starts with.

It begins with Percy and Annabeth falling for minutes? Hours?

Basically they fall into Tartarus.

On the other side, The others make their way to the doors of death on this side.

The other side of the door of death is in Tartarus.

Moreover, the whole book bounces from Tartarus point of view and the upper world point of view.

Thus, this book is about the journey of the heroes to the door of the death.

We meet another character names Bob. He used to be a titan. Percy wiped his memories clean.

On this side, Nico comes in term with his feelings for Percy.

His emotions are a wreck but that’s to be expected from a teenager.

Jason helps his through it.

Leo meets Calypso.

Yes the same Calypso Percy meets in “The Battle of Labyrinth”

I didn’t like her back then. But she is a more likable character in this one.

And it’s also indicated that Leo and Calypso might become a couple.

Percy and Annabeth also faces a lots of challenges. Percy discovers he can control every fluid. And that scared Annabeth.

I loved the Intensity

This book is epic.

One one hand, this book showcases the bonds growing between all the characters.

On the other hand, the fight scenes were intense.

It had its fair share of gory moments.

The sad parts made me cry.

There was this part near the end of the book where Bob says he wanted to see the sun and the stars. That broke my heart.

At the same time, Percy and Annabeth has a huge boost in their bond.

Moreover, nothing strengthens love more than conquering death.

On this side of the door, Hazel is kind of in the spotlight. Her magic becomes more important defeating the bad guys.

Overall, this book is my most favorite in this series. The adventure is the best here. We see a darker side of Percy. But we also see how Annabeth affects Percy. Hazel gets a huge upgrade on her magic and Leo falls in love with Calypso.

In the end, I loved it!
